THIS IS WHAT I LOVE!!!

Only sports I had ever done in high school was running sports. I ran track for 4 years. I tried volleyball, but it wasn't for me so i moved on to cross country lol. I love it so much because it calms me. I don't run for fun, I run for relaxation and for stress release (softball is for fun... anything on diamond is fun for me lol). I feel like I'm in my own world. When I run, I can't hear anything or see anything. Nothing can distract me. No one can be rude to me, be unappreciative, no one can make me feel bad about anything. Everything I've been going through at that time is lifted off my shoulders. It helps me express my feelings without tears. I'm a complex girl and I go through a lot and keep it hidden. Running keeps me from cracking under pressure and it keeps me from blowing up from all my pent up frustrations. It soothes me and makes me happy... no matter how much it hurts lol. Running keeps me together. It keeps me as the happy, goofy, energetic Erin that everyone sees. As long as I continue to run, I'll always stay happy on the outside, no mater what I feel on the inside.
